CGAP and Microfinancegateway have provided many suggestions as to how they should choose technical solutions for their use but surprisingly MFIs are found  experimenting on the solutions and finally when they fail to produce their MIS reports blame the IT vendors and continue hinder their growth. Secondly the role of responsible IT Vendors in terms of Providing the right solutions and ensuring complete training and orientation of  the software solutions is also very essential. The need for complete orientation on IT skill development and training for the MFI staff  or  local youth is becoming a crucial issue. MF industry must come forward to take the services offered by vendors who are ready to provide such trainings and also good solutions to appreciate the benefit they can derive when a good software solution is in place.

I appreciate if the  Banks / funding agencies or Venture capital firms could come forward to support this and help in the development of a good solution addressing all the major issues concerning MF requirements.
